Directions to Sonoma County Detention Facilities
The Main Adult Detention Facility (MADF) is located at 2777 Ventura Avenue, Santa Rosa, California. The facility is conveniently situated just off US 101 in Santa Rosa, with access from both the north and south.
If you're coming from the north on US 101 Take exit 491B for Bicentennial Way E/Sonoma County Administration Center and merge onto Bicentennial Way. Then, turn right onto Ventura Avenue. The facility will be on your right, just past the apartments.
If you're coming from the south on US 101 Take exit 492 for Hopper Avenue. Turn left onto Hopper Avenue and continue straight to transition onto Cleveland Avenue. Then, turn right onto Piner Road, followed by a left onto Range Avenue. Take another left onto Bicentennial Way, and finally, turn right onto Ventura Avenue at the stoplight.

The North County Detention Facility (NCDF) is located at 2254 Ordinance Road in Santa Rosa, California. It is next to the Charles M. Schultz-Sonoma County Airport off of Airport Blvd., 7 miles northwest of downtown Santa Rosa.
If you're coming from the North on US 101 From US 101 N take exit 495B for Airport Blvd and turn left onto Airport Blvd. Just before you reach the airport turn right onto Ordinance Road.
If you're coming from the South on US 101 From US 101 S take the Airport Blvd exit and turn right onto Airport Blvd. Follow the same directions above to the NCDF.
The visitor parking lot is in front of the facility on the left, no permits are required.
